Jacked my @#$(! [Part 3]

So, Lee and I were testing the screen that the officer said should be complicated to open from the outside due to the 'tabs' being on the inside. Other than the fact that night I looked at him sideways and wondered if he truly believed that it was that hard. I mentioned paper clips, or by removing the Vinyl spine temporarily. We realized that you can push the top up; it lifted more easily than from the inside!!! WTF!?

I've taken inventory of everything now and priced everything out. Including pertinent Personal Data and things we can't remember in our personal bags, I didn't include the items that took time to make like the scarves I was knitting and all of the data on the Gamecube's memory card.

It now totals to $1000 - $1215

Jacked my @#$(! [Part 2]

Coming out of my shock of the actual.. I'm thinking that is just so rude.... omg. Lee & I did a little snooping of our own to determine the point of entry. I still bet on the kitchen window. We saw dirt and finger prints! The cops doubted it, but I refused to let them believe that it was actually hard to open those crappy windows. If only they sent a detective from the jump. I'm still fuming over the lack of urgency in this "Private Community".

So, I have a lot to do this morning. Unfortunately for the odd string of events, its not what I planned.

Our apartment got broken into sometime between 12:20pm when I went to go get April, til we got home at 12:20 am. Nothing broken or shattered except my sense of security (sanity, perhaps, I could only sleep for about 3 hours).

I had woken up to a loud hammering at the bedroom window... not a pleasant thing. No one could see in unless they actually opened the window and moved curtains, but I felt slightly violated and decided to get in the shower after closing the bathroom window blinds, which you can't see anything through anyway.

As I was leaving the apt, turning the living room light off, I tripped over my xoxo purse and put it back near the couch where it always sat. I finally leave, locking the doors behind me and the "hammering guys" were still hammering, but they creeped me out... remember I already felt a bit uneasy.

I got into my car and drove off after warming it up for a few minutes, then drive off. As I'm coming to the one way left turn, I notice a teen-aged kid on a bicycle poppin a wheelie and maybe a guy a bit older than him standing around. I've never seen them before...

I ended up having a nice day with April, joined later with the family at my Mom's... and we come back to this? Ridiculous. Ignorant. Why...

Holidays...

They had the nerve to use the restroom...

Its been an odd week considering just the other night some lady flipped her car right out in front of the gatehouse.
